The train takes about an hour from Edinburgh Waverley, and the express bus service X95 takes about 90 minutes from Edinburgh.

Coming in to Galashiels from the south or east on the A7, drive into town past the fire station on your right hand side. After about 400 metres, you will reach a mini roundabout. Take the first exit to the left and drive along Church Street for approximately 200 metres. At the sandstone monument on the centre of the road, turn right into Elm Row. Elm Row leads in to Lawyers Brae, and we are on the left hand side of the road.

From the north and west, follow the A7 through town, in the direction of Hawick, past the large Asda and Tesco. Follow the road uphill round a left hand bend and at the mini roundabout at the top of the hill turn hard right into Church Street and drive along Church Street for approximately 200 metres. At the sandstone monument on the centre of the road, turn right into Elm Row. Elm Row leads into Lawyers Brae, and we are on the left hand side of the road.
